OVERVIEW - IWCF LEVEL 3

The IWCF Drilling Well Control Level 3 course is essential training recommended for those working as a driller and assistant drillers, who is expected to shut-in well. This Course aims to provide candidate through knowledge from kick detection to shutting in the well, to monitoring once the well is shut-in and monitoring the well-kill operation to supervisor for maintaining well control.

IWCF Level 3 Drilling Course provides you with a thorough understanding of well control techniques for surface or subsea BOP installations at driller level. On completion of training, Candidates will able to perform their job role effectively by identifying problems and performing the first actions and Proactively communicate with all personnel involved to maintain well control.

 

Course Eligibility

Prior Certification is not required. Candidate / Company can enrol to level 3 training at their discretion. Experience in a Driller role is assumed.

 

Course Delivery

IWCF Level 3 Drilling course at RIG GAIN is an interactive training, delivered through live lectures supported by practical simulations, videos, case studies, demonstrations, class & group discussions, classroom workbook, self-study exercises, Hands-on practice & Practical skill assessment.

 

Training Duration

4 Days, Course Start as per Schedule.

Examination on 5th day.

 

Audience

IWCF Level 3 Drilling well control training and certification is recommended for personal involved in any role that is expected to shut-in a well such as:

Driller.
Assistant Driller and equivalent positions.
Personnel Who has to perform an action to prevent or respond to well control accident.
