IWCF LEVEL 4 CERTIFICATION

Course Duration: 5 Days.

Certification Validity: 2 years.

Candidates can select “Surface Only “ BOP stack or “combined Surface & Subsea” BOP stack certification.

IWCF Level 4 Drilling certification consists of two assessments (Exams)

  1. Practical Assessment. (Simulator Exam)

  2. Online Assessment. (Exam on 5th Day of training)

  • Each candidate is required to complete an online assessment which includes multiple-choice questions, Kill Sheet calculations, Gauge questions and a practical simulator assessment.

  • Assessments are made up of multiple-choice problem questions to check your skill and knowledge.

Online Assessment Consist of 2 Modules

For Surface Stack

  1. Surface Principles and Procedures: 2 hr 45 minutes (Exam)

  2. Surface Equipment: 1 hr 10 minutes (Exam)

 

For Combined Surface & Subsea Stack

  1. Combined Surface and Subsea Principles and Procedures: 2 hrs 45 minutes (Exam)

  2. Combined Surface & Subsea Equipment: 1 hr 10 minutes (Exam)

 

Certification ( Pass IWCF examination)

The candidate must achieve a minimum score of 70% in all IWCF practical and online assessments. Level 4 certificates are valid for 2 years.

 

IWCF Resit Criteria (Re-Exam)

RESIT available at 150 $ (USD)*

Candidate must pass in at-least 1 online module to be eligible for a resit.

If a candidate scores between 66% and 69% in their assessment, they will qualify for a resit (Retest) within 90 days of the initial test date.  

If a candidate scores 65% or below in their assessment, they will need to attend further training with an instructor and return within 90 days of the initial test date to re–sit their assessment.
